Mavs Take Game Three

Doncic, Irving combine for 62 as Mavericks take 3-0 series advantage

Mavs win Game 3, take 3-0 series lead over Timberwolves

Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving combined for 62 points as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-107 in Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinal series Sunday night.

Dončić led the way with 33 points, while Irving added 29. The duo combined to shoot 22-of-44 from the field and 10-of-22 from three-point range.

The Mavericks never trailed in the game, but the Timberwolves kept it close throughout. Minnesota trailed by just five points with less than four minutes remaining, but Dončić and Irving hit a pair of clutch threes to put the game away.

The Timberwolves were led by Anthony Edwards, who had 26 points. Rudy Gobert added 15 points and 13 rebounds, but he was held to just 5-of-15 shooting from the field.

The Mavericks now have a 3-0 lead in the series and can close it out in Game 4 on Tuesday night.
